Online Gaming Account

This online casino set up Google Adwords campaigns as soon as Google changed its gambling policies. Initially after trying to manage the campaigns in house they decided they needed to employ the services of a specialist PPC Management agency. The brief initially was to increase the traffic volume in an increasingly competitive market which is dominated by household brand names.

As the campaigns originally had many broad match keywords the ads were being shown to the wrong audience and also with a generic ad. On top of this the quality score of the keywords were decreasing and the campaigns history was becoming poorer.

Optimization began on 25th November 08 through the use of restructuring the campaigns via the different games (blackjack, roulette, etc). Through creating individual ad groups plus specifically targeted ads for relevant keywords the traffic volume was increased tenfold with an improved CTR of 618.12%.

This client today has 32 active campaigns on Google, as well as campaigns on Microsoft ad centre and Yahoo and has increased its monthly investment to 12k on PPC.

E-tailer of Party Bags, Fancy Dress and General Party Supplies

This company had managed their Google campaigns in house for a number of years prior to outsourcing the management. As you can see from the graph below over a period of 2-3 months the traffic volume increased whilst the overall CPC was dramatically reduced through optimization.

This was achieved through putting in place all the keyword variations that converted historically which were being picked up by a few broad match keywords that triggered mainly generic ads. These keyword variations were generated from analytics data. These added keyword variations, added as phrase and exact matches, were put into individual ad groups with specific ads. By also splitting campaigns by keyword, match control was gained of the CPC, position and ad shown for each keyword.

The online revenues of this company have increased in 2009 and Google Adwords generates almost 70% of its online business up from 50% in 2008 despite the global downturn.
